Friend and local automotive Youtube personality WatchJRGo is doing a simply stunning LS6  swap into a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II that was junkyard bound. This car originated as a manual E46 325i that hit a deer he bought and rebuilt using junkyard parts and then straight traded for the barely-running Roller. Local company ICT Billet and makers-of-all-things-hot-rod Holley have been sponsors on this and the results are pretty shocking. It’s off for exhaust today and if you want to see it in person it’ll be at Cleetus And Cars later this month vying for top spot in the burnout competition. Sadly I’ve been too busy with life things to go.

First Rolls episode is here:

Car starts for the first time here:

Did I mention this whole swap happens within 30 days? Also check out those powdercoated OEM wheels. Lovely.

Love it, but needs the Draguars’   6-71 out the top. As if Mad Max couldn’t live without the leather and champaigne in dystopia.

Yes, I've been following it closely, big fan of JohnRoss' work. I really like his commitment to maintaining the Rolls-Royce feel instead of doing wild cosmetic mods.

It’s like Christopher Lee and Ted Nugent collaborating on a hard rock album .

I tend to prefer his “de-crap ify” projects a little more since there are a lot of wild and wacky engine swaps on YouTube already, but as always he’s fun to watch and he’s doing a really  solid job so I’m still following right along.

to maintain the aesthetic, he shouldn’t bother putting it on the dyno.  Only state that the engine has “adequate” horsepower.

The E46 he traded for this Rolls was one of my favorite projects of his. It drove fantastic. I was kinda tempted to buy it from him.

And to be fair, this engine swap is DEFINITELY a de-crapify

That old fuel pump looked like someone took it out of a backyard koi pond

I really want this thing if he ever decides to sell it. Sadly I’m not sure I could afford it, but I want it badly. Let me know if he ever decides to sell. I wish I could come up there and hang out with you and JR and maybe even that Hoovie guy. I’m honestly thinking about starting a channel to have fun  on, I’ve got a friend that has a few cars I think would make good content.
